Op. Dr. Nermin ERDAŞ KARAKAYA currently continues her professional practice in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) and Head & Neck Surgery at Burtom Özlüce Medical Center.

Op. Dr. Nermin ERDAŞ KARAKAYA was born in Germany in 1981 and completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Denizli. She graduated from Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2005 and completed her specialization training in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) at Istanbul Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital between 2006 and 2012.

Her main areas of interest include nasal obstruction and allergic nasal diseases, sinusitis, nasal polyps, hearing loss, tinnitus, vertigo and balance disorders, external and middle ear diseases, voice disorders, tonsil and adenoid diseases, snoring and sleep apnea, as well as disorders affecting the head and neck region. She is also interested in the evaluation of neck masses, salivary gland disorders, persistent hoarseness, swallowing difficulties and other conditions within the scope of Head & Neck Surgery.

Depending on the patient’s clinical findings, treatment options related to septoplasty and rhinoplasty, tonsil and adenoid surgery, ear tube procedures and other ear surgeries, vocal cord surgery and endoscopic nasal surgery may be considered when medically appropriate. Diagnostic and treatment planning is individualized according to the patient’s symptoms, examination findings, age and general health status.

Throughout her professional career, Op. Dr. Nermin ERDAŞ KARAKAYA has gained clinical experience in training and research hospitals, state hospitals, private hospitals, private practice and medical centers. She currently continues her professional practice at Burtom Özlüce Medical Center.
