Professional Background & Clinical Experience

Spec. Dr. Selçuk COŞKUN graduated from Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine and completed his specialization training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Ankara Numune Hospital, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Following his specialization, he continued his medical career in both public and private healthcare institutions, gaining extensive professional experience in the evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and functional disorders.

Throughout his career, Dr. Coşkun has worked in different healthcare institutions in Kütahya, Ankara and Bursa. In addition to his clinical practice as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist, he has also undertaken managerial responsibilities and gained experience in private healthcare management. His professional interests include pain management, spinal disorders including cervical, thoracic and lumbar disc conditions, rheumatic diseases, orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation, hand and wrist rehabilitation, lymphedema, lipedema, and cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.

His clinical experience also includes interventional approaches related to Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and pain management, including manual therapy, neural therapy, prolotherapy, ozone therapy, dry needling, regenerative joint treatments and radiofrequency-based approaches. According to the patient’s clinical condition, different diagnostic, rehabilitation and treatment options may be considered as part of an individualized medical assessment.

Spec. Dr. Selçuk COŞKUN currently continues his professional practice at Burtom Biyofiz Mudanya Medical Center, where he evaluates patients within the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
