  • Oxalate: Oxalate is a naturally occurring compound found in many plant-based foods and also produced by the body. High levels of oxalate can lead to the formation of kidney stones, as oxalate combines with calcium to form crystals.   • Osmolality Measurement: Osmolality refers to the concentration of osmotically active particles in a solution, including ions, glucose, and urea. Osmolality measurement assesses the body’s fluid balance and kidney function by determining the concentration of solutes in blood, urine, or other body fluids. Abnormal osmolality levels may indicate dehydration, overhydration, or disorders affecting kidney function.
  • Osteocalcin: Osteocalcin, also known as bone Gla protein, is a marker of bone formation produced by osteoblasts. It plays a crucial role in bone mineralization and turnover. Measurement of osteocalcin levels in blood or urine helps assess bone health and turnover, aiding in the diagnosis and monitoring of conditions such as osteoporosis and bone metastases.
  • (Otoimmun) Autoimmune Liver Profile: The Autoimmune Liver Profile is a panel of blood tests used to diagnose autoimmune liver diseases such as autoimmune hepatitis, primary biliary cholangitis, and primary sclerosing cholangitis. It typically includes tests for autoantibodies such as antinuclear antibodies (ANA), anti-smooth muscle antibodies (ASMA), anti-liver/kidney microsomal antibodies (anti-LKM), and anti-mitochondrial antibodies (AMA).
  • Oxcarbazepine: Oxcarbazepine is an antiepileptic medication used to treat seizures in patients with epilepsy. It works by stabilizing voltage-gated sodium channels, thereby reducing excessive electrical activity in the brain.
