- Soluble Liver Antigen (SLA) Antibody: Soluble liver antigen (SLA) antibodies are autoantibodies directed against specific proteins found in the liver cytosol. Elevated levels of SLA antibodies are associated with autoimmune liver diseases, particularly autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) type 1. SLA antibody testing is used in conjunction with other autoantibody tests and clinical evaluation to aid in the diagnosis and management of AIH.
- (Safra Asitleri) Bile Acids: Bile acids are organic acids produced by the liver and released into the bile. Measurement of bile acid levels in serum or urine is used to assess liver function and bile acid metabolism. Elevated levels of bile acids may indicate impaired liver function, cholestasis, or bile acid malabsorption.
- Salicylate (Aspirin): Salicylate refers to a group of compounds that includes aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) and its metabolites. Salicylate testing measures the concentration of salicylate in blood to monitor therapeutic levels in patients receiving aspirin therapy or to detect overdose or toxicity. Salicylate poisoning can lead to symptoms such as tinnitus, nausea, vomiting, and metabolic acidosis.
- Salmonella Tube Agglutination (Gruber-Widal): The Salmonella tube agglutination test, also known as the Gruber-Widal test, is a serological test used to detect antibodies against Salmonella bacteria in the serum of patients suspected of having a Salmonella infection, such as typhoid fever. The test relies on the agglutination (clumping) of Salmonella antigens when mixed with specific antibodies present in the patient’s serum. A positive agglutination reaction indicates the presence of Salmonella antibodies and suggests a recent or current Salmonella infection.
- Saturation Index: The saturation index is a calculated value used in the assessment of kidney stone risk and the propensity for mineral precipitation in urine. It represents the ratio of the ion activity product of a particular mineral to its solubility product. A saturation index greater than one indicates supersaturation, suggesting an increased risk of mineral crystallization and kidney stone formation. Conversely, a saturation index less than one indicates undersaturation, indicating a lower risk of stone formation.
- Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG): The SHBG test measures the levels of Sex Hormone Binding Globulin, a protein that carries sex hormones in the body. This test is especially used for monitoring hormonal balance and metabolism of sex hormones.
- Selenium: Selenium levels determine the amount of selenium in the body, helping to identify selenium deficiency or excess. Selenium is a mineral with antioxidant properties and plays a role in immune function, thyroid function, and other important body processes.

Unconjugated Estriol (uE3) The Unconjugated Estriol test measures the levels of free estriol, an estrogen hormone. This test is used as part of prenatal screening tests to assess if the fetus is developing properly. - Serotonin: Serotonin levels measure the level of serotonin, a neurotransmitter involved in neural communication, in the brain. - Sp IgE,Phadiatop: Phadiatop is a trade name for a specific IgE (immunoglobulin E) blood test that measures your overall sensitivity to a wide range of allergens, including dust mites, pollens, molds, and animal danders. High levels of specific IgE antibodies on a Phadiatop test may indicate that you have allergies to one or more of the tested allergens. Your doctor will interpret your Phadiatop test results and help you determine which allergens are likely causing your symptoms.
- Sperm Analysis (Semen Analysis): A sperm analysis, also known as a semenogram, is a test that evaluates the health and quality of a man’s sperm.
